 From the Desk of
La'Keisha Newsome, First Lady

Praise the Mighty Name of Jesus,

My name is La'Keisha Newsome and I am the wife of Bishop Nathaniel Newsome, Sr. I am also the mother to our four children, Shanique, Jasmine, Gabrielle, and Nathaniel (KC) Newsome, Jr. We count it an honor and privilege to have the opportunity to work in the service of the Lord.  We have been working in the ministry for approximately eight years. We pray that our ministry has a positive effect on the lives of all the individuals who walk through the doors of Landmark. We know that our ministry is not limited to Landmark Christian Center but through our everyday holy living.  We know that our lives are the only bible that some people read and that they must see Jesus through our Christian and holy lives. Granted, we know that we will face trials and tribulations, but we know that through Christ we are overcomers and it is all for the edifying of the kingdom of God.

W.I.S.D.O.M.  D.I.V.A.Z.

I am also the founder and coordinator of WISDOM DIVAZ,  a youth ministry of Landmark Christian Center. The ministry focuses on empowering young ladies to develop into God-fearing women making a positive impact in their churches, communities, and world. We currently serve girls from across the Wiregrass Area, Enterprise, Ozark, Abbeville, Bakerhill, and Clopton.

Wisdom is sweet to your soul; if you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. (Proverbs 24:14)

The mission of W.I.S.D.O.M. D.I.V.A.Z. is to promote and instill Christian values and to support young women as they transition from girls to young women. The age range of the girls is 13-19 years old. They participate in activities that will enhance their Christian, family, and community values as well as the perspective on their self image.
